Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Electro-Optics Engineer to join our team and drive the development of advanced optical solutions. This is a hands-on technical role focusing on the design, simulation, and analysis of photonic and electro-optic systems. You will play a key part in shaping optical design strategies and ensuring technical excellence across projects.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Design and simulate electro-optic packaging solutions.
  • Analyze data from fabricated optical components.
  • Interpret optical measurement results and identify fabrication challenges.
  • Validate optical system performance against specifications.
  • Perform advanced optical simulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional R&D teams.
  • Prepare clear technical reports and presentations.
  • Contribute to long-term optical development strategies.

What We Need to See

  • MSc in Physics, Electro-Optics, or Applied Physics.
  • Strong foundation in geometric and physical optics.
  • Proficiency in optical system and lens design.
  • Expertise in optical simulations.
  • Advanced scripting in Python and/or MATLAB.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Hands-on experience in electro-optics lab work.
  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills.

Ways to Stand Out

  • Experience with Zemax and/or Lumerical.
  • Knowledge of signal and image processing.
  • Familiarity with advanced optical instrumentation.

Inspection & Integration Technician

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Inspection & Integration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in assembling, testing, and troubleshooting sensitive optical components and fibers with small tolerances. The successful candidate must exhibit a high level of precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment. Proficiency in using specialized tools and instruments for optical assembly is essential.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Test and troubleshoot optical systems to detect and resolve technical issues.
  • Conduct visual inspections of components and assembled systems to ensure they meet stringent quality standards.
  • Assemble and glue optical components and fibers with high precision according to engineering drawings and
  • pecifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of production data, test results, and other documentation related to the assembly process.
  • Collaborate with design team, mechanical engineering, quality control, and production departments to ensure efficient assembly processes.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce production costs.
  • Follow strict safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.

What We Need to See

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in optical assembly or a related field.
  • Proficiency in using specialized hand tools, measuring instruments, and optical testing equipment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow complex engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in various MS applications.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience working with small tolerances and high-precision components.
  • Ability to perform tasks that require fine motor skills and precision.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
